The United Nations Working Group on Internet Governance
is set to meet on 14-16 February 2005 to discuss,
among other things, spam, cybersecurity and cybercrime.
The group has scope to discuss all aspects of Internet
governance - including domain names administration
and Internet Protocol(IP) addresses, administration
of the Internet Root Server system, telecommunications
infrastructure, broadband access, and competition
policy, liberalization, privatization and regulations.

The 40 members of the group are to present a preliminary
report to the Preparatory Committee of the World
Summit on the Information Society, which will evaluate
the progress made on the Summit's Plan of Action,
agreed to by 175 countries at the end of 2004.
